Mike Bishop
Vice President of Construction Services
Mike Bishop is Vice President of Construction Services, bringing nearly four decades of leadership and hands-on expertise in restoration, reconstruction,
and large-scale disaster recovery. Since 1988, he has overseen complex residential and commercial projects involving structural repairs, environmental
remediation, and full reconstruction.
Throughout his career, Mike has managed restoration projects for ServiceMaster, Rainbow Restoration, and spent nine years with BELFOR, where he held senior
leadership roles overseeing high-volume, high-complexity loss projects. Prior to joining SafeHouse IES, he continued his leadership career with a respected
Northeast Ohio construction company, further strengthening his background in construction management and rebuild execution.
Mike’s experience includes supporting major disaster recovery initiatives following Hurricane Katrina, as well as executive oversight of three large-scale
restoration projects involving crews of more than 125 technicians. These efforts included extensive mold remediation and environmental restoration work with
combined project values exceeding $80 million.
Known for his integrity and direct leadership style, Mike is honest to a fault and deeply committed to protecting clients’ interests. He emphasizes accountability,
quality control, and doing the work right the first time—without shortcuts or unnecessary costs.
He attended trade school beginning in 1988 while working overnight shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and attending classes during the day, establishing the work ethic
and discipline that continue to define his career. He is also a former member of the Carpenters Union, further grounding his leadership in professional construction standards.
Outside of work, Mike is a proud father of four and a devoted father figure to three additional children who have known him as their only dad. That same sense of
responsibility carries through in the way he leads teams and safeguards the homes entrusted to his care.
